Geelani expressed deep grief over the killing of Mysera Begum in Handwara | KNO

Srinagar, December 12 (KNO) : Hurriyat chairman Syed Ali Geelani Tuesday expressed deep grief over the killing of Mysera Begum in Handwara, saying forces are resorting to disproportionate and unjustified force against peaceful civilians. It is highly condemnable, said Geelani while extending his condolences and sympathy with grieved family. Geelani while blaming Indian forces for unleashing terror, said that continuous bloodshed is the outcome of forced occupation. Innocent killing is sheer state terrorisms, said Geelani and added that authorities feel happy by resorting to excessive, reckless, unjustified use of force against peaceful and unarmed civilians in Kashmir, which is highly condemnable,” Expressing solidarity with the bereaved family, Geelani said that killers roam free without any accountability, saying that these forces have turned the state into a slaughter house. Geelani while referring to recent threatening statements from Indian leadership, said that since then ,the situations has taken an ugly turn and killing graph has gone up. Meanwhile on the directions of Syed Ali Geelani, a deputation led by Bashir Ahmad Qureshi, Saif u Din Mir and Ab Ahad visited Unsu Handwara and expressed condolences with the bereaved family of Mysera Begum.(KNO)
